NEWS AND NOTES:

Conci Bokum has retired as president of the Dialogue and the Board has selected Mary Murnane to replace her. Mary assumed the position as of the end of the January 14, 2010, Annual Statewide Meeting.

The Dialogue's 16th Annual Statewide Meeting, "State Water Planning: A Path Forward?" held January 14, 2010 at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center in Albuquerque, was a huge success. Attendance was better than ever, and Helen Ingram's keynote speech, "No Universal Solutions: Place and Politics Matter in Water Governance," was warmly received. To view the agenda and download slides and transcripts from the meeting (posted as they become available), go to the Recent Events page.

Also available: Transcripts from the Dialogue's 15th Annual Statewide Meeting,
"Bringing Accountability to Water Planning: Do We Need a Crisis?"

Transcripts for most presentations have been posted. Check them out here.

The Fall 2009 issue of Dialogue has been published. Read it (and make a donation) here.
